Rome, Trastevere

And finally we arrive in Trastevere. I love this place. Rome is absolutely beautiful and one can understand why it's called The Eternal City

One place that is often overlooked is Trastevere. It may not have all the grandeur of The Trevi, Coliseum, St. Peter's Basilica, etc, but what it does have is the most wonderful character.

It's not a big neighborhood so I really like wandering around and discovering new things. With its narrow alleys and streets surprises are never lacking.

You can get there of course by bus or taxi, but why miss out on the opportunity to walk down this wonderful path and cross one of these bridges?

This is always my last stop in Rome. It's my own personal love letter from the Eternal City.

Champs Élysées

Since we had very limited time in Paris, we decided the best course of action would be to buy a two day pass for the double decker tour bus. This bus does double duty.  The two day pass is an awesome taxi. We got on and off as we liked all around the city. A ticket will also buy you a headset for listening to the tour. This gave us a history lesson on all the sights we were passing by. But my favorite thing was when we were driving up the Champs Élysées and listening to that same titled song by Joseph Dassin. It was the best. Oh Champs Élysées...

London Calling

And calling and calling. Man I wanna go back. March I'm looking at you.
